  • Similar system to model 203H, except that the main filter is a 10-inch blue housing with replaceable cartridge

    a) GAC10
    • general purpose drinking water filtration

    • temperature range: 40-125oF or 4.4-51.6oC

    b) CBR10
    • multi-media to reduce lead, chlorine, Giardia & Cryptosporidium
    • powdered activated carbon (PAC) effectively reduces organics
    • 0.5 micron (nominal) sediment removal
    • designed & tested against Cryptosporidium cysts at removal rate of 99.95%, meeting NSF Standard 53
    • resin tested to remove lead >95% through 1,200 gallons of water
    c) KDF/GAC
    • most innovative multi-functional filter cartridge for different kinds of municipally treated drinking water
    • KDF is classified by EPA as "pesticidal device" in water filtration
    • KDF produces a feeble electrostatic current in water, which prohibits any growth of bacteria, algae and fungi
    • KDF is effective in removing lead, mercury, arsenic and many heavy metals in water by redox process
    • KDF as a catalyst, enhances the chlorine removal capacity of GAC by 500%, up to 6,000 gallons of water for the cartridge
    • KDF is tested to remove lead >99.99% through 1,200 gallons of water

    d) Multi-media Cartridge
    • FIVE MICRON PRE-FILTER - Traps larger solids (sediments) such as rust
    • KDF - Eight ounces of KDF-55, KDF-55 is a patented alloy. It removes free chlorine and heavy metals thereby prolonging the life of the filter and is an excellent Bacteriostat
    • GAC - Thirty cubic inches of 20 x 50 mesh, superior coconut shell, granulated activated carbon, "G.A.C.", GAC has long been accepted by the E.P.A. and others as the premier cost-effective way to remove chlorine, bad odor and color from drinking water. G.A.C. also removes organic contaminants such as pesticides, herbicides, arsenic, mercury and trihalomethanes, an organic pollutant that can cause cancer
    • RESIN - Seven cubic inches of ion exchange resin
      This resin has an exceptional affinity for lead and removes lead to below minimum E.P.A. standards
    • GAC - A seven cubic inches bed of GAC. Provides extra protection against cancer-causing organic pollutants.
    • CALCITE - Three ounces of calcite. Calcite raises the water's pH, thereby lowering acidity and increasing alkalinity, which many nutritionists recommend
    • A ONE MICRON, ABSOLUTE DEPTH, POST FILTER - A filter with a micron rating this small screen out cysts and protozoa (including Giardia and Cryptosporidium), and gives the filtered water a sparkling clarity
  • A pre-filter made of spun polypropylene to be placed in clear housing to remove sediment, silt, rust etc. down to 1 micron (like model 203H)
